Back to business this week with a good win over Wellingborough on Friday night.
Wellingborough have bounced back in to the league and signs show that the season away has helped them re-group, recruit and pose a bigger threat.
Scouts have too been on a development this season and like last week, the squad had a mixture of old and young players. James Barrett starting in the row after being put for a few weeks and coach Jack Green at Flyhalf.
Overall, the win was a progressive grind down of the visitors with a respectful 14-0 lead at half time. The 'business' was done between 40 and 50 minutes with two tries that showed the better side of the two.
Wellingborough worked hard to claim back some points and dignity but the Scouts ran out deserved winners which could have been 50+ points had the weather held out.
Away to Broadstreet next week!
