Old Scouts 1's got back to winning ways with a dominant win over Peterborough.
The visitors sit in sixth place in the table, and it just shows how tough the top of our league is because 2nd to 6th is quite different. The Scouts lads have an abundance of skill and confidence, and its just a case of building on pitch positions to execute. The opposition didn't have the same artillery available.
There were lots of positives. Welcome returns from long injury breaks for captain Dean Lake and Alex Finney. Plus it was great to see young Yaris Clifford Pyne starting in the row and Cam Ounsworth in the replacements. Both have been working hard in the Rovers to get a first team place.
With 3 league games left its hard to see the team break the top spot, but its looking like another excellent season for the squad and coaching team.
