Les played for Scouts for a number of seasons before becoming chairman from 1978-1987.
Les was instrumental in the formation of the Minis/Juniors and his wife Lorna helped wherever she could and their son David played throughout M/J’s.

Lorna donated the trophy in Les’s memory to be awarded to the volunteer of the year.
